Evergreen conifer, with scale-like, emerald-green turning to blue leaves; very slow growth, reddish-brown trunk.
Grows well in every kind of soil and climate; keep in a sunny place, in warm or cold areas alike, better if windy. Fertilize moderately using either organic or chemical slow release fertilizers. Treat twice in winter with white oil, treat again twice preventively with an acaricide in summer.
From May to September, using well-sharpened hedge clippers and removing only the new vegetation.
